TO OUR VALUED HARVEST CLIENTS:
As we look forward to another successful harvest together, below please find the logistics and contact information for Harvest 2021 at Rack & Riddle:
COVID-19 WELLNESS PROCEDURES FOR ALL LOCATIONS
All visits must be scheduled and approved before arrival.
As we look forward to welcoming you back to Rack & Riddle – we still must operate
within the guidelines given to us by CalOSHA. With this in mind, and wanting our
employees to feel safe, we are asking each of you to follow some simple
rules/protocols articulated herein. These are as follows:
a) If you confidentially provide our Business Development Client Service Specialist
(Monica Smith) with proof of vaccination you will not have to wear a face
covering when visiting any of our locations. This includes both indoor and
outdoor spaces. We will maintain your name on a list, notifying our managers of
such status.
b) If you choose not to provide proof of vaccination, or have decided not to
receive the vaccination, we respectfully must require that you continue to wear
a mask while at any of our locations, whether indoors or outdoors.
Thank you for understanding our position. We hope further clarifications from the
State of California, along with continued significant reductions of COVID, will permit
us to eliminate these measures in the future.
Please check in upon arrival with the person that you have been scheduled with. The
office is located on the first floor, south entrance of the main building.

Harvest 2020
Details

PROTOCOLS and PAPERWORK
Be sure all written protocols have been delivered to the winemaking staff one week prior to scheduling deliveries. No processing will be done without a written protocol.
All paperwork must be completed prior to grape delivery – quote signed, standard terms
agreement signed, current insurance certificate on file.

ADDITIVES
All additives, including yeast, should be delivered one week prior to scheduling so it can be
logged in and available. A delivery area will be set up outside the lower entrance to the main
building.

DELIVERY NOTICE: IMPORTANT
We will not have shaded areas or warehouse space available to hold fruit, so it is imperative
that we adhere to delivery schedules.
- Deliveries will only be accepted in ½ ton macro bins and 2-ton gondolas.
- Driver Should bring a completed copy of our Grape Hauling Form.

VISITOR CHECK-IN
All visiting/client winemakers and staff need to make an appointment before arrival. They will check in upon arrival with the person that you have been scheduled with. The office is located on the first floor, south entrance of the main building.

WINEMAKER OFFICE “HARVEST HOURS”
Winemaker harvest office hours are as follows:
- Monday— Saturday: 6 a.m. —5 p.m.
- Sunday: By appointment only.

GRAPE SCALE HOURS

DELIVERIES: SCHEDULE IN ADVANCE
All deliveries must be scheduled in advance, and go to our Alexander Valley location (see map below). Rack & Riddle in Geyserville has easy access and plenty of turnaround space.
- Deliveries must be scheduled 72-hours ahead, along with estimated time of delivery to the winery
- We must get a call ahead if the delivery will be late, and we cannot guarantee weigh or processing that day if you miss your delivery window.

WEIGH SCALE HOURS
The weigh scale is open:
- Monday—Saturday: 6 a.m. — 4 p.m.
- Sunday: By appointment only
LATE DELIVERIES
If the delivery is late, we must get a call ahead and cannot guarantee weigh or processing that day.

PEST REPORTS
The client is responsible for providing pest reporting if needed to Rack & Riddle at the time of scheduling, i.e., EGVM, LBAM.
The driver is responsible for carrying appropriate pest paperwork. Don’t Forget the Grape Hauling Form!
