Rack & Riddle Invests in Leadership to Drive Growth
(Sonoma County, CA) — Rack & Riddle, the No. 1 custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, has announced a strategic restructuring of its sales and production divisions, along with key additions to its executive leadership team to support continued growth and innovation.
“At Rack & Riddle, we are continuing our commitment to innovation and accelerating our focus on strategic growth,” said CEO Jeff Tuttle. “These structural changes and new executive appointments will help us stay ahead of evolving industry trends and better serve our winery, custom brand, retail, and on-premise partners.”
To strengthen its B2B partnerships for controlled and custom label programs, Rack & Riddle has launched a new Custom Brands Division. The division unifies sales, marketing, and sales operations under a newly created role of chief commercial officer (CCO), filled by Mark Garaventa, longtime executive team member and general manager.
Reporting to Garaventa will be key new hires for this growing division, Vice President Sales Custom Brands Todd Dobozi and Vice President of Marketing Sarah Qualters.
Dobozi joins from The Wine Group, where he held multiple sales leadership roles following earlier posts with Romano Brothers Beverage Company and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.
Qualters brings experience across major CPG and beverage companies, including Clorox and The Wine Group’s private label division. Kim Kulchycki continues as senior director of marketing.
Stephen Micallef has been promoted to executive vice president of operations. Micallef, formerly vice president of production operations, will oversee companywide scalability and operational excellence across all of Rack & Riddle’s California facilities.
A newly-integrated sales operations team will also support the Custom Brands Division. Brett Vankoski transitions into the role of vice president of sales operations custom brands, and Monica Smith, a 12-year veteran of the company, has been named project manager for custom brands.
